Alapítványunk az Autism Europe tagszervezete

Our foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 1998 in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.

Basic activities:
Providing services, professional counselling and information for people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the Central Danubian Region as well as supporting specialist care.
We provide autism specific development according to the individual needs of the affected person. We operate a bean-bag club for young adults living with autism in order to develop their social and communicational skills. We facilitate their successful integration into society by obtaining disability specific development tools, and organising programs which help the social integration of people living with autism. We operate a free tool and publication library for the families with children living with autism as well as for professional people. The Foundation has prepared and brought into operation the rehabilitative residential and occupational program for young people living with autism at a special facility in the village of Csókakő. We pay special attention to the strategies and objectives based on the principles of equal opportunity. We provide programs to help their effective execution and also to overcome the obstacles to their success. In this way we contribute to the long-term commitment of the professional and civil organisations, parents and decision makers.

The operation of the Foundation is controlled by a three-member Board:

Chair of board: Anikó Mahlerné Köfner

Secretary of board: Zsuzsanna Szilvásy

Member of board: Anette Nowakowszki
